Directions – das seidl Hotel & Tagung Munich - Puchheim

das seidl Hotel & Tagung is a modern hotel located to the west of Munich and easily accessible by car and on public transport.

Munich's suburban train gets you to the city centre in approx. 20 minutes. The “München-Lochhausen” junction of the A99 motorway, linking to all other major motorways (A8, A9, A92, A94, A95 and A96), is only 5 kilometres from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes.

Munich Airport is less than a 30-minute drive away.

By road

All motorways from the north or the south (A8, A9, A92, A95 and A96) will lead you to the A99 motorway ring road.

Exit the A99 at junction 7 (“München-Lochhausen”). Coming from the A96, turn left at the traffic lights. Coming from any other direction, turn right at the traffic lights on exiting the motorway.

Stay on this road until you see a small stud farm on the right immediately after passing the sign for the municipal border of the city of Munich (reading “München”). At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into “Lena-Christ-Straße”.

Drive carefully here, as this road is sometimes subject to speed checks.

Keep driving until you reach the end of this road. At the traffic lights, turn left. Immediately after the bend you will see our hotel.

The entrance to the underground garage is located in front of the hotel.

Route planner

By train

From Munich Central Station:
Head to the suburban train (S-Bahn) leaving from the platform for outbound trains in the direction of Pasing. Take the S 4 to Geltendorf (or Buchenau). You will reach Puchheim after about 20 minutes. From there, take bus No. 830 which stops right in front of our hotel.

Tip:
Check whether your train bringing you to Munich stops at Pasing station. From Pasing, the suburban train ride to Puchheim takes only 10 minutes. Take the S 4 (in the direction of Geltendorf or Buchenau) to Puchheim and then bus No. 830, which stops right in front of our hotel. When buying your train ticket, give Puchheim as your final destination so that the train ticket also entitles you to use Munich’s public transportation services at no extra charge.

Deutsche Bahn (German railway)

By plane

When arriving by plane, there are different options for getting to our hotel. Using Munich’s public transportation system is probably the least expensive one. Follow the signs for the S-Bahn to get to the suburban train platforms and take the S 8 to Pasing. In Pasing, change to the S 4 in the direction of Geltendorf or Buchenau. Alight the train at Puchheim station and take bus No. 830 which stops directly in front of our hotel.

Alternatively, you can take the S 1 and exit the train at Hirschgarten station. There you will need to change to the S 4 (in the direction of Geltendorf or Buchenau) to Puchheim. From the train station in Puchheim take bus No. 830 to go to our hotel.

It takes about half an hour to drive from the airport and so a car is a considerably faster way to get to our hotel. Rental cars are available at the airport. Take the A92 motorway towards Munich and stay on the motorway until you reach the exit “München-Feldmoching”. Change onto the A99 and keep driving towards A7 Stuttgart/A96 Lindau. When you reach the “Allacher Tunnel”, keep left and then follow the signs for “A96 Lindau”. Having passed through the tunnel, exit at the next junction, called “München-Lochhausen” (exit 7), and turn right at the traffic lights.

Stay on this road until you see a small stud farm on the right, immediately after passing the sign for the municipal border of the city of Munich (reading “München”). At the next traffic lights, turn left onto “Lena-Christ-Straße”.

Drive carefully here, as this road is sometimes subject to speed checks.

Keep driving until you reach the end of this road. At the traffic lights, turn left. Immediately after the bend you will see our hotel.

The entrance to the underground garage is located in front of the hotel. Please note: When booking your flight, make sure that the airport code is MUC. Some travel agencies offer flights to “Munich West”, the airport at Memmingen in the Allgäu region which is more than 100 kilometres away.

Munich Airport

Airport transfers & Taxi

Airport transfers can be booked with certain flights. Ask your travel agent whether this would be possible.

If you are looking for a convenient and relaxed way to get to our hotel on landing at the airport, a taxi may be your best option. Simply follow the signs once you have arrived at Munich Airport. Plenty of taxis are usually available, so there is no need to wait.

The taxi ride takes about half an hour.

A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, or the other way around, usually costs between € 65 and € 70.
